It houses all of the documents and many items of memorabilia from LBJ's presidency, it hosts special events, presentations, and exhibits that have significance in Texas and US history. And it is much larger than the Kirchner Center.

Well, to be fair, only 14 acres of the 30-acre campus are considered part of the LBJ Library. Groundskeepers count as employees, too.
