Washington State. Near Seattle. and Safeway, Haagans, Fred Meyer, and the Red Apple, which are the local chains, all have shitty mass produced bread. Call me a bread snob. I actually did repair work for one of the best bakeries in the area, and so have become addicted to their organic potato bread.
But here or there, I, personally, dont buy bread at a supermarket.
In Buenos Aires, I have gotten good bread at a bunch of small bakeries.
I much prefer shopping at stores specific to their merchandise- fiamberias, carnicerias, panaderias, verdulerias.
I dont much like supermarkets anywhere.
thats just me.
but there is good bread here.
just like many things in Argentina, the all in one shopping experience doesnt give you the same results as being pickier about where you buy.
I am very hardware oriented, and I go to at least 4 different ferreterias for different things.
