Getting back to the original thread - did anybody notice a drop-off on the blue today? Seems that today was the first day I saw an increase in the spread from the dolarblue.net to what was quoted on the streets. Not sure if the rate on the site is not being updated after what happened Friday, or the cambios are starting to increase their commissions from 20 centavos to 40 centavos... (quoted range was 9.2 - 9.6 today).

Quotes are all over the map: 10.50 in Cordoba, BA 9.50 to 10.05. If the Gov drives this thing deeper underground, up goes the risk and with it, the spread and the xrates.
 
Everyone is a little nervous right now. Once the freeze, well , thaws ( no turkey reference), I suspect a little bump up , as demand will be up as nothing has traded for 5 days. 9.50 is what I am hearing now. Best to wait a couple days and let the AFIP boys go get a Fugezetta. Shoulds stay where it is at , between 9-10.
 
Same thing happened last year when Moreno wanted the dollar to stay at 5.6 or so... it is all BS. The more they try to control it, the more out of control it will go.
