People throw out the "Hate" word on the table for anything stronger than kisses on the cheek. Look it up "hate" is strong, very strong. Think Nazi, think KKK, George Wallace. Stong response does not equal hate. Let's not diminish a word that has some horrific overtones.

Agreed. But besides the immigrant's preferences, taste etc. it unfortunately also depends on your ethnic background, passport and the amount of money you have (or alternatively your job skills).

I think this was a case of ad hominem attack and insult rather than hate per se.
