Peso at 4.47 a week after the election (and black market is picking up dramatically). Anyone still think there won't be a significant devaluation?

Umm, the current exchange rate is 4.2360.

Stop buying your dollars en negro and stop paying such exorbitant prices. Of course the price of dollars in the "parallel market" is going to increase when the government is cracking down on this (highly illegal, in virtually every country on the planet) illegal market.

If you're going to be in the business of predicting economic collapses, you need to have at least a passing familiarity with the facts.

People buying dollars in the black market should be subjected to a comprehensive audit by AFIP (and then probably face charges for not paying their taxes as they should). The problem is not selling dollars without authorization, is the laundering of pesos that did not paid taxes.
