If you don't agree with this curious caballero called Bajo_Cero, you are either immediately ignorant/naive or clearly an expat, that can't possibly know anything about ... (fill in whatever topic you want to discuss). Stop being so pedantic and just respect other opinions (which is, I fear something K people are not capable of).

As soon as ibstead of ideas you have insult, i don t waste my time anymore with you.

OK, if you really want me to write insults instead of ideas, I shall respect that.

I am not going to complain about the level of English of other people (although often I need to read your phrases about four times before I understand what you mean), but I'd advise you to proofread your posts before submitting them. Also, it's a pity that you ignore my previous advice about respecting opinions, and now I come to the conclusion that you simply have a very narrow-minded character.

Gentlemen, Gentlemen, please do not resort to fisticuffs.

I love that Bajo-Cero is brave enough to enter this BA expat bastion of "Neo-liberal" thought. We have to give Bajo-Cero kudos for entering this arena outnumbered 10 to 1. He is a true ideological gladiator fighting under the K banner against all odds.

Besides he gives excellent legal advice and I'd hate to see him go!

No, there are two things happening here: the general discussion is just one thing, and his way (not the 'ideological' content itself) of participating in discussions here is very immature and arrogant.

I am glad not everyone has the same opinions, although unlike you I wouldn't call this forum a bastion of one particular opinion.

Yes, I can be very bitchy at times, but only in response to someone who is provoking general irritation, with a very confrontational style of imposing his own views on other people, instead of just stimulating an interesting discussion.

This wasn't meant as a criticism of any particular post or member. If it was interpreted as such I apologize.

I am a Libertarian. And I definitely think the Libertarian or "neo-liberal" points of view are very well represented on this forum. The left-wing, socialist, Peronist elements are under-represented. They are entering a hostile arena in BA-expats. I tip my gaucho hat to them for entering the ring outnumbered. I myself, I fear, scared off one of our few left-wing voices: PhilinBSAS. I feel we have to exercise Affirmative Action for the few left-wingers on this forum.

Honestly, you began that with your cheap jibes around seven day miracles, calling people ignorant and naive, the most basic of comprehension would allow you to see that.

I see you wont answer any questions, so yes, we are done. Good luck and goodbye. Life is too short and it is Friday.

One of the problems i find with some neoliberal people is that the repeat simple dogmas like a revealed true and they get very irritated when you show facts that contradict them.

One of the goal of the K administration is that the acchieve to recover the AR economy doing the opposite of what the IMF advices.

Somebody asserted that the industry was doomed because of Peron. I think i already evidence that this assert is no less than unaccurate. I suggest more reading and less hate. You can start with the links of wikipedia i posted.

To ignore the AR history is ok because this is an expat forum. However, it is desirable to understand the country where you live. The politics in this country has nothing to do with left or right, it is more complex.

That's interesting. SDRs aren't synonymous with dollars.

The U.S. trade deficit in March decreased to a 3-year low with China, meaning less dollars are being sent to the Chinese central bank. Money velocity in the U.S. is at historic lows. China has established currency agreements with numerous G20 countries, including Argentina, over the past several years. The governor of the Chinese central bank has advocated for SDRs to replace the USD as the reserve currency.

It's all very interesting. Maybe Argentina knows something that some do not.

On SDR replacing USD, read Currency Wars by James Richard. I read it once and will have to read again to understand.
