"Leaving America"

If we follow your definition, France is an american country as well, since some of its territory is located on the american continent (Guyane, french islands in the caraibs). If you follow a cultural pattern, the whole american continent is European except Paraguay, since all official languages are european except Guarani.

Nothing is simple is this globalized world :p

Then, France is also African under the same logic.

Globalized world can be a pain, right? :p

To me, the places you mention are extra-continental territories. It's geopolitics. My point is strictly geographical.

Check the Wiki definition for Guyane:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/French_Guiana

It's define as an overseas French territory located in South America.

Same with cultural patterns.

Her, I mean, it's constitution, not any nation's.

Thanks. I misunderstood your point. Still, I wish our Constitution would stop being just a little book kids throw at each other in school...

So? Those are countries that steal half or more of productive people's income to feed hordes of welfare leeches and state bureaucrats.

Must be tough rationalising the success of a model that is supposed to be evil manifest.

Just more socialist bullshit.
Capitalism made those countries rich. Despite the socialist tendencies of their governments. Otherwise, the countries are just places of high taxes and perverted view of "freedom" and "equality" (like gender quotas, affirmative action, for ex.)

In Asia, (where I grew up), we are taught in schools that America is USA, not Puerto Rico or Argentina which actually have their own country names.

FYI: Puerto Rico is a possession of the US, not an independent country. All Puerto Ricans are citizens of the United States of AMERICA.

The USA is a fascist state that has caused more sufferings and wars than any other empire in human history . They have actively supported dictatorships in Argentina and all of South America that have contributed to the deaths of millions of people .

Being proud of the USA is the ultimate in hypocrisy.
She's backkkkkkkkkk! Pauper, this is your fault. You uttered the the incantation that raised the dead.
They walk among us.

Nothing is simple, indeed. Now where on earth do we place the República Oriental del Uruguay which becomes the Oriental Republic of Uruguay, prehaps Uruguay is a secret part of China? And what about American Samoa. I guess they belong to American Airlines? Or maybe Canada.

Where's the bullshit? You claimed that socialism always results in failure and the death of millions. Yet the Nordic model has created nations with world class healthcare, education and quality of life for its citizens.

I recently bought gold stocks because I think the dollar will fall and cause turmoil in the markets.

What are you going to do if and when a "Progressive President" issues an executive order (in the name of an emergency following the turmoil you expect) that makes it illegal for US citizens to own gold?

And if you are really a BAexpat (actually living in Argentina) how are you going to convert your stocks into physical gold when you really need it (when no one will accept paper money)?
