Violent protests in Chile: Will this spread to Argentina?

The until 2019, the US did not sanction Venezuela. It sanctioned Venezuelan government officials. Up to that point any US company could do business in Venezuela. It was Venezuela who embargoed itself by making it impossible to do business there.
BTW, Citgo is still operating in US territory without any restrictions.

due to sanctions PDVSA cannot profit from any citgo operations in the USA. citgo has separated themselves from PDVSA as a result of that.

So then the decline of Venezuela is NOT related to sanctions since oil exports were not affected. It is entirely the incompetence and corruption of the government that they are in such a lamentable state. God help them. It is a catastrophe that did not have to happen - all due to the selfishness, resentment and incompetence of Chavez and his successor. And of course Cuban intervention.

Well now that Colombia, Chile, Bolivia and Ecuador are on fire! May spread soon to Argentina...! Having a Populist leader means nothing ! Look what happen to Evo?

Chilean Government tries to control the sale of illegal slingshots and projectiles in Santiago protests , street vendors have proliferated during the Demonstrations in Plaza Italia..! Also bandanas, Sky masks, flags , laser pointers, and water bottles.
Entrepreneurship is everywhere..!

For those of you that follow the Sunday Oppenheimer Program out of Miami TV, Presented by Andres Oppenheimer an Argentinian Journalist.

This Sunday he addressed the Chilean Crisis..!

One of his guests gave his revealing interpretation of the Chilean Crisis:
He stated "Chile is like a commercial airliner flying in midair. A crisis develops when the Economy section passengers riot on the belief that the Business Section has too much steak, Booze, extra Blankets and privileges so they attack the attendants and raid the Business Section Pantry . Chaos ensues and the Captain believing there may be a hijack in process double locks his cockpit door and calls the armed guards...!" However, meantime the engines are working full blast the plane keeps flying.. If someone opens a door then the plane may collapse..!

Really? Chavez and Morales, through their corruption and incompetence, didn't have anything to do with it? When did US oil sanctions start? I thought it was fairly recent.
In Chile they are corrupt. So?
