Violent protests in Chile: Will this spread to Argentina?

Inflation is not devil.

Yeah, the rest of the world is stupid, except CFK. She is the genious who figured out the magical formula for free lunch. Just print money and BOOM: All problems solved.
Thing were so good back in her days, so incredibly good, that drunk in their bliss and joy with the status quo, the Argentines elected that idiot called Macri by pure accident.

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">BREAKING: &quot; This is a historical day for Chile,&quot; says the govt official who tweeted this video. Nearly 1 million protesters are in the streets of Santagio, Chile, now. Internet service is slowing down, as people use social media to make sure the world knows.<a href="https://t.co/sUZ3GM4AR7">pic.twitter.com/sUZ3GM4AR7</a></p>&mdash; David Begnaud (@DavidBegnaud) <a href=" ">October 25, 2019</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

Look at the video on the Guardian link above. This is astonishing. If it happens in BA will Fernendez use police / military repression against the protesters? Macri may be lucky to lose.

Why Will it hapen with FF?
The salaries are going to recover its purchase power. It can only happens if MM wins and continue destroying the purchase power or people.

Hoiw can the new government make the peso stronger and tame inflation? How will they be able to pay the foreign debt left by Macri ? Will the Imf renogiate the debt condituions to Argentina?

Lets look at this logically . Argentina is not far from complete social collapse . Peoples earnings are at historical lows and infllation and devaluation destroys the little that they save . If the new government of Fernandez cannot stabilize the peso and inflation this anger will overflow into violence directed to the business class promoted and encouraged by those who need a scapegoat .

I cannot see logically that the economy will miracuosly improve as there seems to no economic plans that have been expressed to help the economy back on its feet . The foreign debt is far too huge to be managed and central babk reserves at historic lows . The damage has been done and this time Argentina will have a long economic downfall that could equal Greeces of 10 years .

Chile has 18 million people. Over one million have been protesting. This has forced their president to change his hostile tone and to make some adjustments. People see that major sustained protests can effect change. The concessions may not be adequate but they are a start. Who knows what the new government in Argentina will do - print more pesos? Chile can solve some of its economic imbalances but there may be no way out of the Argentine mess. How long will people keep quiet?

Chilean wages are lower, pensions are lower, and the percentage of government spending on social services is way lower than in Argentina. Much of the cost of living is higher.
Those Chileans are getting screwed by the military and the billionaires, and they know it. Tax scandals have abounded for years- as in, the wealthy not paying em.

And Chile, unlike Argentina, is basicaly a one horse economy- Copper is over 50% of exports, and mining economies are very susceptible to corruption- it historically very very common when a couple of giant companies/families control half the economy, for them to own the government as well. None of those situations apply to Argentina the same way.

I think your approach is bad oriented. The problem is not inflation, neither to make the peso stronger, the problem is dollarized rates with wages frozen in pesos.
With CFK there was 25% inflation but salaries were been adjusted to inflation. In that case the inflation meant to add zeros but the purchase power was more or less stable.
The inflation with MM is because he was printing pesos plus leliqs plus taking loans like crazy but all this usd were for capital flight.
