Even if he didn't have a gun there is no excuse for trying to rob someone else's possession, no matter your circumstance. There is starting to be a ripple of sympathy for this guy, I am guessing this will turn into a wave and next year he will be dancing on Showmatch.
No not symapthy. Pity. I do not justify his actions but I believe that the degradation of Argentine society is the result of corruption, loss of values and government policy that affects everything from education to social policy. Should criminsls be punished? Yes but the roots of the problems will remain until the focus is put on uplifting people through education, job training and creation along with a revival of moral values. That the society should wind up this way when its leaders are vile should be no surprise.
