Ajo is right, only the Oakland/Yerba Buena span is new, which means the cost per kilometer is even more expensive. I'm sure the engineering challenges/costs of building a bridge to Colonia would be as much or more than the SF Bay Bridge.

Really? Then Argentina should grant the job to the Koreanos, Korea suppose to build bridge connecting Chile's Chiloe island to mainland

Most of the Bay Bridge was fabricated in China, shipped, then assembled. The original cost estimate for the Bay Bridge was around 1 billion.
