What get's me about the whole drone issue (and this maybe goes to your point) is that the debate is around whether the US govt. has the right to kill Americans on US soil ... as if we have already accepted that it is okay for the US govt. to kill US citizens abroad.

Since the death by drone of Abdulrahman al-Aulaqi while in Yemen, who was born and raised in Denver, it is a pretty much an accepted policy.
