What get's me about the whole drone issue (and this maybe goes to your point) is that the debate is around whether the US govt. has the right to kill Americans on US soil ... as if we have already accepted that it is okay for the US govt. to kill US citizens abroad.

Am thinking the Venezuelan's have about had it with long winded speeches and when Cristina was asked to limit her eulogy to three minutes, she went off in a huff. In all seriousness, cannot believe she would not attend the state funeral for Chavez. What hell would she have thought if Chavez had split before Nestor's interment. Diplomatic f.... up if the story is true.

He promissed free furnished housing to the poor class ( albeit everyone in Venezuela are in the poor class segment, someone said. ) amounting to millions of them, how he was going to finance this formidable projected task ahead to appeace all the proletarian masses that won him, election after elections.? Oil money can go so far but not sufficient enough, just unsustainable. Popular leader he was, but worst Manager..He could have learned something from reading Pinochet's diary as to how to run the country and manupulate its people. Chavez certainly was no Economist. A new paradigm is emerging in Latam in the XXI century!

Maduro will replace Chavez. Maduro was a bus driver and Union Leader, with only elementary education, Perhaps requiring High School education for Congressmen or Presidents, is discriminatory for the less privileged ? Thus enabling leaders like Lula or Evo to be in power.
