Well, her books could serve a useful purpose, and have greater resale value, if they could be recycled into toilet paper for the villas.

In most "spill accident" cases, you can just take out the hard drive and plug it into another notebook/computer. If the notebook was not drowned in red wine, the hard drive typically survives w/o problems
